So this book that I'm going to start reading is one of only two series that are still being published. So I'm looking forward to reading this one and doing the review.

So today I'm going to be talking about a book series that I hadn't even read before: Nancy Drew on Campus. And when I say that I've never read the series, I've never read the series. I look forward to getting them all and reading them. The series has 25 books in them and I'll do a book review of each book once I'm done reading them. Book Review for The Secret of the Old Clock

I decided to do a book review of the first book that I read.

The Hidden Staircase

This is the second book in the original Nancy Drew series. Since I've just started to re-read it I'm not doing a summary of this book. However, I'll show you the photo's of the different covers of the books.

Starting My Collection

So I've started to buy books that will be apart of my collection. Each day I will be showing a photo of the book that I bought and what place it is in the line up. So here's the first one.

The Secret of the Old Clock!

The first one is the original cover of the book.





This book contained language that was appropriate for that time but when it was revised that was one of the many things that was taken out. The original was republished in the early 2000's.



The second one is a cover that I don't recongize or see where it fits, but it's the same book that I'm guessing had the language taken out.

 


The last one, which is the one that I have, is the yellow spinned cover with the yellow on the top of the front cover.




This is the first mystery that Nancy Drew solved. What I did love about the original was the fact that she was in a Model T or even a later version of that car. I'm not a fan of the convertible. I loved the hat that she wore and the artwork. I understand the warning but that didn't stop me from enjoying the book. In-fact that consider the original to be better than the one that came out after revising and removing of content.


Note: Totally forgot about this version. I don't know if it's like the first, but it's a book that I will be getting at some point.

This is my first blog post and I want to thank you for coming and reading to start off. This blog is something that I've been thinking about doing for a long time and now I can do it. I've been a huge Nancy Drew fan for years and this blog will be reflective of that.
